HICKORY, NC - A standing-room only crowd of 4,444 packed L.P. Frans Stadium for the Crawdads annual Christian Concert Game. Although the 'Dads fell, 12-10, on Saturday, they still find themselves in first place.
The 1st Half Northern Division Champion Crawdads are 59-40 overall this season, the best overall record in the Northern Division. Hickory's 19-12 record in the second half puts them one and a half games ahead of the Kannapolis Intimidators for first place.

~ For the month of July, 1B Andrew Clark has a team-high 7 home runs, 25 RBIs, and 16 walks while posting a .342 batting average. Clark's run of 8 games with an RBI ended on Monday.
~ SS Jurickson Profar had a personal season-high eight-game hitting streak snapped on Monday against the Delmarva Shorebirds. During the streak, he recorded 16 hits in 37 at bats (.432).
~ Hickory leads the SAL in batting average (.278) and on base percentage (.356)
