HICKORY, NC - Once the Crawdads wrap up an eight-game road trip in Delmarva on Tuesday, the FUN returns to L.P. Frans Stadium as Hickory kicks off an eight-game homestand this Thursday night ! The 'Dads are in the thick of the battle for 1st place in the Northern Division Second Half Standings, and will begin the home action this week against the Lakewood BlueClaws with Thirsty Thursday, Friday Fireworks, and the Chick-fil-A Christian Concert this Saturday!

The Crawdads are 15-9 so far in the second half, and are tied with the Lakewood BlueClaws for 2nd in the Northern Division Second Half Standings, just a half game behind the 1st-place Hagerstown Suns. Hickory is 51-42 overall in 2012, good for 3rd in the overall standings in the Northern Division.

-The 'Dads are 3rd in the league with 76 home runs

-Hickory scored 13 runs in Sunday's victory in Delmarva, one run shy of tying the 'Dads season mark for most runs scored in a game

-INF Alejandro Selen is batting .722 (13-for-18) with runners in scoring position, the highest of any Crawdad. Overall he is hiting .456 (26-for-57) with five home runs, 21 RBIs, 13 runs scored and a .500 on-base percentage through just 16 games this season
