
Three Run Sixth Gives Tourists Win

Rome, GA - The Rome Braves fell to the Asheville Tourists 5-2 Monday evening at State Mutual Stadium in front of 2,056 fans.
Asheville's Trevor Story led off the game with a double and after a fielding error by Fernando De Los Santos, Story came across for the first run of the game. Rome scored in the first and the fifth on two William Beckwith RBI singles to go ahead 2-1.
In the sixth, Peter Moylan (0-1) came on in relief and the Tourists tagged him for three runs including a RBI ground rule double by Story to take the 4-2 advantage. The final Asheville insurance run was a home run by Will Swanner (12) in the ninth for the final score of 5-2.
Peter Moylan was charged with his first loss as Alex Gillingham (4-5) received the win for Asheville after pitching five innings and allowing two runs.
