(WHITAKER BANK BALLPARK, Lexington, Ky.) The Lexington Legends defeated the Hagerstown Suns 11-1 Monday afternoon, completing Sunday's suspended game. The regularly scheduled game, which will be a seven-inning game, began at 7:00 p.m. Monday.

Hagerstown held the lead briefly when Brian Goodwin led off the game Sunday with a home run, but the Legends scored six runs in the bottom of the first inning, capped by a two-run double by Jose Fernandez and a two-run single by Ryan McCurdy.

Lexington added two more in the third inning when McCurdy scored on an error, and Ruben Sosa scored on a Nolan Fontana single.

The game was suspended in the middle of the fourth inning Sunday due to rain and field condition. Play resumed this afternoon with the bottom of the fourth.

The Legends extended the lead to 9-1 in the sixth when Fernandez doubled home another run. Lexington added two more runs in the seventh on sacrifice flies by Matt Duffy and Zach Johnson. Johnson's sacrifice fly gave him 73 RBI and tied him with Hagerstown's Matt Skole for the South Atlantic League lead.

Lexington starter Mike Foltynewicz went four innings, allowing one run before the game was suspended on Sunday. Mitchell Lambson (1-0) took over when the game resumed Monday and tossed four scoreless innings to get the win.

Hagerstown starter Chris McKenzie (2-3) allowed the six runs in the first inning and was handed the loss.
