
Crawdads Release 2015 Schedule

Hickory, NC - The Hickory Crawdads have released their schedule for 2015, with the 'Dads 23rd season in Hickory scheduled to start on Thursday, April 9th.
The Crawdads open and close the 2015 season at beautiful L.P. Frans Stadium, with the 'Dads kicking off the year with a seven-game home stand against Hagerstown and Asheville April 9th - 15th before ending the regular season with a five-game series against the Rome Braves September 3rd - 7th. The 2015 schedule will have the Crawdads at home for Memorial Day and Labor Day, while also featuring 12 Thirsty Thursdays and 10 Fireworks Fridays. The 'Dads will celebrate Independence Day with a game on July 3rd, while a 4th of July celebration at L.P. Frans Stadium is being planned with the team on the road.
The Crawdads will see plenty of their in-state rivals next year, with the 'Dads taking on the Greensboro Grasshoppers 17 times, the Kannapolis Intimidators in 15 games, and the Asheville Tourists on 9 dates. The Rome Braves will also visit L.P. Frans for two series and nine total games. The Crawdads most frequent opponent in 2015 will be the Lakewood BlueClaws, with 18 total games on the schedule, 13 of them on the road.
The schedule will once again feature the Crawdads in the South Atlantic League Northern Division and will be comprised of 140 games, 70 per half. The two halves will be split by the All-Star break from June 22nd - 24th, with the 56th annual SAL All-Star Game taking place in Asheville, NC.
