Coyotes Recall Tyler Gaudet from OHL Sign Dan O'Donoghue to Entry-Level Contract

GLENDALE, ARIZONA - Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes recalled forward Tyler Gaudet from the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds (OHL) and have signed forward Dan O'Donoghue of Mercyhurst College (AHA) to a two-year entry-level contract. As per club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.

The 6-foot-3, 200-pound Gaudet registered 26-35-61 and a plus-25 rating in 65 games with the Greyhounds this season. He finished third on the team in scoring and goals. The Hamilton, Ont. native has totaled 29-40-69 in 99 career games with Sault. Ste. Marie.

The 6-foot-5, 210-pound O'Donoghue recorded 15-28-43 and 41 penalty minutes (PIM) in 38 games with the Lakers last season. He ranked tied for the team lead in points, first in assists and tied for second in goals. O'Donoghue also led the Lakers with five power-play goals and three game-winning goals. The Port Jefferson, N.Y. native registered 45-74-119 in 155 career games with Mercyhurst.
