LAREDO, TX- It was a pitching duel between the Edinburg Coyotes and the Laredo Broncos Sunday night at Veterans Field as the Coyotes fall 4-3 in 10 innings. Aaron Guerra and Gregorio Martinez battled in the rubber match between the two teams.

Guerra went seven innings allowing three runs on five hits and seven strike outs in a no decision. Broncos' starter Martinez went nine innings allowing three runs on three hits and 14 strike outs also getting a no decision.

The Coyotes started the third inning with back to back singles from Jason Arrowood and Nick Aranda to put runners at second and first with one out. Angelo Fermin put the Coyotes on the board with an RBI double to left field that plated Arrowood from second base. Then Gary Roche made the score 2-0 on a grounder to second but because of an error by Eric Padilla, Fermin came around to score to make it 3-0.

The Broncos answered in the fifth inning as Santiago Guerrero led the inning off with a single. The Guerrero moved to third after Matt Lawman hit a double to put runners at second and third with no out. Padilla then grounded to third to get an RBI but a throwing error by Eric Gonzalez allowed the second run to come around to score to put the score at 3-2. Dwayne White then singled to right center to bring in Padilla from second base and tie the game at 3-3.
