Coyotes Loan Redenach to Grand Rapids of American Hockey League

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - The Arizona Sundogs of the Central Hockey League today announced that NHL parent club the Phoenix Coyotes has loaned center Tyler Redenbach to the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League (AHL) for the remainder of the season. In exchange, Grand Rapids will trade right wing Adam Keefe to the Coyotes' AHL affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage.

Redenbach, 23, has played in 31 games this season with the Sundogs, and currently ranks second on the team and in the league in scoring with 66 points (18g/48a). The Regina, Saskatchewan native also has one assist in six games with the Coyotes triple-A affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League (AHL). Redenbach was drafted by Phoenix in the third round (77th overall) of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.

Keefe, 23, is currently in his third AHL season and has recorded one goal and 124 penalty minutes (PIM) in 32 games for the Griffins this year.

Redenbach becomes tenth player in Sundogs franchise history to spend time at the American Hockey League level after playing with the Central Hockey League club.
