Coyotes Acquire Forward Christian Thomas from Montreal in Exchange for Lucas Lessio

Springfield, MA - Arizona Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have acquired forward Christian Thomas from the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for forward Lucas Lessio.
The 23-year-old Thomas has registered two assists in five games with the Canadiens this season. He has also collected 7-7-14 in 18 games with the St. John's IceCaps (AHL). In 2014-15, the 5-foot-9, 180 pound Thomas played 18 games with the Canadiens, collecting one assist and seven penalty minutes.
Thomas was drafted by the New York Rangers in the second round (40th overall) in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
