Game Preview It will be an early wake-up call this morning for the Kalamazoo Wings, as they host the Port Huron Icehawks in the first of two straight Wednesday's Education Day games at Wings Stadium. On the season, the K-Wings are 5-4-0-0 versus the Icehawks and are 3-1-0-0 at Wings Stadium.
Commencing a three-game home stand this morning, today starts an important stretch of the K-Wings schedule. Starting today, Kalamazoo will play their next five games versus teams surrounding them in the standings, including two encounters versus Port Huron.
With 68 points, the Icehawks enter the day tied with the Muskegon Lumberjacks for first place in the league. Though with 53 games, Port Huron has played one more game then Muskegon. The Icehawks and Lumberjacks also hold a five-point lead over the K-Wings, who are in third.

Roster Moves
Two K-Wings will either be making a return or a debut to the lineup today. After missing the last 30 games, Tyler Willis is set to return to the lineup, while defenseman Martin Ondrej will make his Kalamazoo debut after being traded to the K-Wings yesterday from the Flint Generals.
Back to School
Kalamazoo will play their first of two Education Day games this Wednesday versus the Port Huron Icehawks. All-time the K-Wings are 6-4-0-1 in games played in the morning, including 4-4-0-1 at Wings Stadium.
Nearing Milestones
Both Blair Manning and Rod Aldoff are getting ready to eclipse impressive milestones. Manning needs one more point to reach the 800-point plateau mark in his career, while Aldoff is one goal shy of 100, three assists shy of 300 and four points shy of 400 in his career.
