The trade will have a long lasting impact. "This trade will have another positive impact on the direction of our hockey club," explained Head Coach Bobby Reynolds. "Martin Ondrej has been a good defenseman in Flint but we needed to make a couple of changes that would benefit our hockey club for the long-term and we get that with Robinson and Miller."

The key for this trade is what they bring to the table. "Miller is a steady defenseman, he keeps in simple and plays it very smart," explained Reynolds. "Robinson is a physical, tough hockey player who is not afraid to mix it up. We need to be more physical and consistent in our own zone."

"We get a solid combination of experience and toughness with these two players in our line-up," continues Reynolds. "This does help us and gives us additional depth, which is important when establishing and building a solid nucleus of strong players for our hockey club. It is good for us to get them here."

Both players are expected to be in the line up on Thursday, February 26, 2009 as the Generals host Bloomington at 7:00 p.m. (Team USA 1980 Lake Placid Men's Olympic Gold Medalist Jim Craig will be here).
