Getting set to clash against adversaries in back-to-back games, the Kalamazoo Wings will head to L.C. Walker Arena battle their intra-state rival, the Muskegon Lumberjacks. The K-Wings are 1-2-0-0 against the 'Jacks this season, with both losses occurring at L.C. Walker Arena.
Finding ways to win, the K-Wings have won seven of their last 10 and are currently riding a five-game overall and three-game road winning streak. With 34 points, Kalamazoo is tied with the Port Huron Icehawks for first place in the International Hockey League.
Commencing a three-game home stand, Muskegon has thrived at L.C. Walker with record of 8-4-0-0, including a 2-0-0-0 mark against Kalamazoo. After suffering an overtime road loss last night to the Icehawks, the Lumberjacks are still two points behind the Fort Wayne Komets for third and six points out of first place.

Stayzer Returned
Missing the past 20 games due to injury, forward Blair Stazyer returned to the K-Wings lineup last night. Stazyer, who last saw game action on October 31st, scored a goal in the K-Wings victory over the Generals.
On Fire
Several K-Wings players enter tonight on multi-game point streaks. Glenn Detulleo is currently enjoying a five-game point streak, Rick Cleaver and Lucas Drake are riding four-game streaks and Rod Aldoff has earned points in three consecutive games.
Five Alive
The K-Wings head into L.C. Walker Arena on a five-game winning streak. Besides the overall winning streak, Kalamazoo has not lost in three straight road contests.
