The United Hockey League's regular season will come to end this evening, as the Kalamazoo Wings face-off against the Fort Wayne Komets. This will be the seventh meeting of the season between the archrivals. Kalamazoo leads the season series over Fort Wayne with a record of 3-2-1.
With their victory last night over Missouri, coupled by Fort Wayne defeating Muskegon, the Kalamazoo has wrapped up their first-ever Tarry Cup and Central Division title. The K-Wings enter the game on a UHL high seven-game winning streak, which includes a four-game road winning streak. .
Fort Wayne enters Memorial Coliseum on a five-game home winning streak. The Komets have sown up second place in the Western Division and the sixth seed in the upcoming Colonial Cup playoffs. The Komets will face either Danbury or Rockford in the first round of the playoffs, which begin next week.

The K-Wings victory last night in Missouri, coupled with Fort Wayne's win over Muskegon, gives Kalamazoo their first-ever Tarry Cup and Central Division title. By receiving, the Tarry Cup, which is given by the league to the team with the best regular season record, means the K-Wings will be the number one seed in the upcoming Colonial Cup Playoffs.
On a Roll
Kalamazoo will be looking to extend their UHL high seven-game winning streak. A victory by the K-Wings would tie their season high for consecutive wins with eight and road wins with five.
A Bakers Dozen
Forward Jason Deitsch is currently on a K-Wings' high 13-game point streak. Deitsch, who leads all UHL rookies in scoring with 87 points (38 goals, 49 assists), has recorded at least one-point in 33 of his last 34 games.

Forward Lucas Drake enters tonight's game nearing a milestone. Drake needs two more points to reach 100 for his career.
