The Kalamazoo Wings and the Port Huron Flags will each finish off their three-games in three nights this afternoon at Wings Stadium. Today is the sixth meeting of the season between the teams and the fourth played on a Sunday. The K-Wings lead the season series over the Flags with a record of 4-0-1.

The K-Wings will commence a four-game home stand this afternoon. Kalamazoo, who is currently on a two-game home winning streak, is 15-4-3 at Wings Stadium this season. The K-Wings will also be donning their alternate jersey for the matinee. On the year, the K-Wings are 2-1-0 when they wear their blue jerseys.

The Flags come into the game looking to move up in the Central Division. Port Huron starts the day tied with Flint Generals for fourth place. You can expect a close game this afternoon, as 25 of Port Huron's 50 games have been decided by a single goal. The Flags come into today's game on a high, as they defeated the Fort Wayne Komets last night 5-4 in a shootout.

With his shutout last night against Muskegon, goaltender Joel Martin recorded his league best 6th shutout of the season. The shutout was also Kalamazoo's seventh shutout of the year.

Closing in on 100

K-Wing forward Dustin Virag is nearing a personal milestone. Virag needs one more goal to reach 100 for his career.
