Kalamazoo Wings News Release
For the fourth time this season and the last at Wings Stadium the Kalamazoo Wings will take on the Fort Wayne Komets. On the season, the K-Wings are 2-1-0 against their archrivals; however, the Komets defeated Kalamazoo in their last encounter 4-1 last Friday at Wings Stadium.
The K-Wings come into tonight's game looking to snap a three-game home winless streak. The three-game winless streak is the longest this year by the Kalamazoo Wings. So far this season, the K-Wings are 6-5-2 against teams from the Western Division.
The Komets have been raising their game to a new level. Fort Wayne has won seven of their last 10 games and in turn has placed themselves just five points away from second place in the Western Division, a position currently held by the Quad City Mallards.

For the second time this season, forward Brad Church tied the K-Wings season high for shots in a game last night with 10. Church, who became the fourth K-Wing to accomplish the feat, put up a eight of his 10 shots in the opening period of last night's game against Rockford.
Snapping a Streak
The K-Wings come into Wings Stadium looking to snap a three-game home winless streak. The three-game streak is the longest home drought by Kalamazoo this season.
Minor Infraction
Forward Tyler Willis has committed 46 minor penalties this season. The 46 minor penalties is the second most in the league this season. Willis enters tonight tied for fourth in the UHL in penalty minutes with 187.
A Rookie Power Surge
Forward Jason Deitsch is starting to turn heads around the league. Deitsch ranks 12th among all UHL rookies in scoring with 28 points and has scored 8 of his 13 goals while the K-Wings have been on the power-play. The eight power-play goals ranks Deitsch third among all rookies in the league.
