IHL 2 Kalamazoo Wings

Countdown to Face-Off

November 26, 2004 - International Hockey League 2 (IHL 2)
Kalamazoo Wings News Release

For the second time in as many nights, the K-Wings will play at the Kemper Arena against the Kansas City Outlaws. Last night, the K-Wings received goals from Chad Allan and Ryan Barnes, as well as stellar goaltending from Joel Martin to defeat the Outlaws 2-1.

Kalamazoo will be looking to tie franchise history. A win or a shootout loss will tie the K-Wings UHL franchise record for longest road unbeaten streak. The K-Wings enter Kemper Arena undefeated on the road in their last four games. The record of five games was set during the 2000-01 season.

For Kansas City to upend the K-Wings historic run, they must end their own losing streak. The Outlaws are winless in their last 8 games and have won just once in their last eleven games, which includes two loses to the K-Wings. Tonight's game is just the fourth home game of the year for the Outlaws, who have played 15 of their 18 previous games on the road.
