
Outlaws fall 2-1 to Kalamazoo in return home

(Kansas City, MO --- November 25, 2004) â After a 15-game road trip that spanned six weeks, the Kansas City Outlaws dropped their first home game in the history of the organization. The 2-1 loss to the Kalamazoo Wings depleted their overall record to 6-11-1.
A crowd of 3052 supported the return home on the holiday, as the Outlaws face the Wings again tomorrow night, Friday, November 26 at 7:30 p.m. at Kemper Arena for magnetic schedule night.
Tonight was a battle of the goalies, as the first period elapsed without a goal from either side. The Wings stuck first blood 39 seconds into the second period on a goal by Chad Allen. Allen assisted on the game's second goal about seven minutes later (13:22) to jump to a 2-0 lead.
The Outlaws came out of the second intermission ready to strike and scored on a goal by Steve Yetman, assisted by Jason Ruff and Joe Seroski. The scored remain 2-1 for the remaining 19:30, despite an onslaught of shots from the Outlaws, who out-shot the Wings 15-6 in the third period.
