Kane County Cougars News Release

DAVENPORT, IA - Nearly an inch of rain overnight effectively washed away any chances of playing baseball at Modern Woodmen Park on Sunday. As a result, the Mother's Day contest between the Kane County Cougars and the Quad Cities River Bandits was cancelled with a make up date at Kane County pending.

The two clubs will meet over the Memorial Day weekend in Geneva and this contest will be slotted into one of those dates as part of a doubleheader.

The Cougars return to Elfstrom Stadium in Geneva to begin a short four game homestand against the Cedar Rapids Kernels on Monday, May 12 at 6 PM. Scott Hodsdon (1-4, 6.17), who was scheduled to start on Sunday will take the mound for Kane County.
