Geneva, IL â The Kane County Cougars began a seven-game road trip Thursday night in Clinton with a 4-3 loss to the LumberKings. The Cougars lost a 3-1 lead after two unearned runs in the seventh, and the game-winning run scored on a wild pitch. Myron Leslie's two RBI led the offense.
Cougars Jared Trout didn't allow a hit until the fourth inning, and the Cougars spotted him a 2-0 lead in the third.
