Cougars Acquire Stanley from Lethbridge

Head Coach & General Manager Mark Lamb has announced the acquisition of defenceman Ross Stanley (04) from the Lethbridge Hurricanes in exchange for a sixth-round pick in 2024.

Stanley, 18, was drafted by the Edmonton Oil Kings in the second round,40th overall, in the WHL Prospects Draft. The product of Edson, AB had four points (0G-4A) in 17 games with Lethbridge this season. Stanley has suited up in 62 WHL games combined with the Lethbridge Hurricanes, Prince Albert Raiders, and Edmonton Oil Kings.

Stanley will wear number 5 and join the Cougars on their current road trip.
