NORFOLK, VA. - The Greenville Swamp Rabbits (30-20-4-1) flipped the switch on the Norfolk Admirals (20-30-4-0) on Saturday, 5-3.

After falling by a score of 5-3 on Friday and being scored on three times in the first, the Swamp Rabbits were the only one finding twine in the opening 20 tonight, courtesy of Allan McPherson. An odd man rush was dropped to the third-year pro and he deposited it past Anderson to open the scoring.

T.J. Foster scored his second goal in as many nights to even the contest just one minute into the second period but Greenville was able to respond with two of their own, taking a 3-1 lead into the third period. For the Swamp Rabbits' Michael Joly and Brandon Alderson, it was their 17th and 16th of the season respectively.

In the third the Admirals were able to strike just 62 seconds in, coming on a Domenic Alberga breakaway. For the second time though, the Swamp Rabbits had an answer of two. Angelo Miceli and Trevor Gerling put the visiting team ahead by a score of 5-2, one they would not look back from.

John Dunbar would put a final tally up for Norfolk in the final moments of the third, but it was too little, too late.

P.J. Musico was the winning goaltender, stopping 28 of 31 along the way. Brandon Anderson, donning his ECHL Golden Goalie presented by the MeiGray Group, suffered the loss, allowing four on 30 shots.

The Admirals will stay around in Norfolk now, awaiting to host the Elmira Jackals at Scope on Friday and Saturday of next weekend. Tickets for the games are on sale now on Ticketmaster.com and at the Norfolk Scope box office.
