NORMAL - The Normal CornBelters, presented by Illinois Corn Farmers, are excited about upcoming promotions at this week's six-game home stand, which is also Ag Week presented by the Illinois Corn Farmers. Following a three-game road trip this weekend at the Evansville Otters, the CornBelters will be back at the Corn Crib on Monday, July 18 with Early Bird Monday / Illinois Corn Growers Night / Harry Potter Night.
Monday, July 18, 7pm -Early Bird Monday / Illinois Corn Growers Night / Harry Potter Night: Get out to the Corn Crib every Monday night for half-price concessions and recieve 50% off one merchandise item per fan! Every Monday night is Illinois Corn Growners Night, where all Illinois corn farmers receive 50% off their tickets by showing their Association Card. There will also be $1 Corn Dogs all night long courtesy of the Illinois Corn Growers. Illinois Corn Growers will also be giving out Corn Can Koozies to the first 500 fans! Calling all wizards and muggles! It's Harry Potter Night at the Corn Crib so bring your magic wand and dress as your favorite character. Tuesday, July 19, 7pm - Reading 'Round the Bases Tuesday / Chamber of Commerce Night / Salute to Pork / Best Buy/BTSA School Supply Drive: All kids in attendence are welcome to run the bases after the game every Tuesday Night! On "Reading 'Round the Bases Tuesday," Rosati's Pizza of Normal reading club students can participate in a pre-game parade on the field! This Tuesday, the CornBelters welcome local chambers of commerce to the ballpark to recognize them for all of their hard work! We will also be recognizing local Pork Producers on this night as a part of Ag Week at the Corn Crib presented by Illinois Corn Farmers! Fans can also enjoy $1 pork burgers and the 50/50 raffle winner will also receive a $100 pork bundle from Bloomington Meats. The Best Buy/BTSA School Supply Drive volunteers will collect any school supplies that can fit into a back pack & supplies will go to families in need near the start of the new school year! Wednesday, July 20, 7pm -Dog Day Wednesday / Stop Hunger Canned Food Drive / Salute to Beef: Wednesday has gone to the dogs! Don't forget to bring out your barking best friends to the ballpark every Wednesday! You can also help fight hunger by bringing one or more canned goods to the Corn Crib on any Wednesday night and receive a free small popcorn, compliments of Sodexo! We will also be recognizing local beef producers as part of Ag Week at the Corn Crib presented by Illinois Corn Farmers! The first 200 fans will receive "I (heart) Beef" tshirts. Thursday, July 21, 7pm - Thirsty Thursday / Bar Night / Prairie Farms Night: Every Thursday is "Thirsty Thursday" where selected draft beers are only $1. There will also be a bags tournament of the concourse! The CornBelters will be recognizing all of the local bars, pubs, and taverns in attendance on this night as a part of "Bar Night!" Friday, July 22, 7pm -CEFCU Fireworks FRIDAY / Agriculture Night / 4H Night / LIVESTRONG Night: Stick around after the game for a spectacular fireworks show brought to you by CEFCU! Bring a group out for "Agriculture Night" and attend an exclusive Q&A session with local Ag experts! This night will also feature farm machinery on display around the ballpark, a petting zoo, hog calling contest and much more! For 4H Night, we'll recognize all 4H'ers in attendance! Saturday, July 23, 7pm -State Farm Starstruck Saturday presents Dave Kingman / Health & Wellness Night / Illinois Corn Marketing Board & Pioneer Night: State Farm Starstruck Saturday brings former Chicago Cubs outfielder and three-time All-Star Dave Kingman. The "Sky King" led the National League in homeruns twice, and in 1976, hit one out of Wrigley Field an estimated 550 FEET! Kingman will throw out the first pitch as well as sign autographs! This Saturday is also "Health & Wellness Night" at the Corn Crib where the players and Corny will show you how to eat well and live a healthy lifestyle throughout the game!
