AVON, Ohio - The Normal CornBelters, presented by Illinois Corn Farmers, dropped a wild affair by an 11-9 score to the Lake Erie Crushers on Thursday night at All Pro Freight Stadium.

Lake Erie added two unearned runs in the second inning as a pair of leadoff walks came around to score to increase the host's lead to 4-1.

The Crushers scored four times in the fifth inning, with RBI singles from Andrew Davis and Russell Moldenhauer plus a two-run double from Robbie Kuzdale to cut the Normal lead to 9-8.

Lake Erie grabbed an 11-9 lead with two runs in the seventh inning on just one hit, as a hit batsman and two walks loaded the bases to allow J.C. Figueroa to drive home both tallies.
