Cook Named Attacker of the Week

The Owen Sound Attack is announcing they have named forward Holden Cook the Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week.

Cook, a Whitby native scored two goals on Friday night in a 6-1 win over the Erie Otters en route to being named the games first star. The 18 year old forward then returned to play close to home on Sunday evening and helped lift the Attack to a 4-2 win over the Oshawa Generals in Oshawa.

The 6'0, 190 lb forward has turned into one of the Attack's best defensive forwards this season and is also putting up career numbers. Cook has achieved a new career high in points (14) and has smashed his previous season high goal total of two by notching his 9th and 10th goals this past week.

Cook and the Attack are back in action on Wednesday when the Sauble Beach Chamber of Commerce presents the Attack vs. the Kitchener Rangers. Game time at the Bayshore is 7:00pm.
