CONDORSTOWN, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors announced today that RW Taylor Beck has been named the CCM / AHL Player of the Week for the period ending Nov. 6, 2016. Beck is the first Condors player to receive the award.
CCM / AHL PLAYER OF THE WEEK - TAYLOR BECK
In three games this past week, the 25-year old had eight points (3g-5a) and was +4Tied a career high with four points (1g-3a) in the Condors 5-3 win over Texas on SaturdayOn the season, Beck is tied for sixth in the AHL in scoring with 12 points (3g-9a)On Sunday, he was recalled by the Edmonton Oilers, and arrived in Detroit in time to play eight minutes in the team's 2-1 win over the Red WingsBeck became the 20th Condors player in the past 13 months to play in the NHL; Bakersfield led the AHL in NHL man games played a season agoIn recognition of his achievement, Beck will be presented with an etched crystal award prior to a Condors home game
