Coyotes Recall Deangelo and Gaudet from Tucson

GLENDALE, ARIZONA - Arizona Coyotes General Manager John Chayka announced today that the Coyotes have recalled defenseman Anthony DeAngelo and center Tyler Gaudet from the Tucson Roadrunners, the club's American Hockey League affiliate (AHL).

This season, the 21-year-old DeAngelo has registered 1-4-5 in eight games with Tucson. DeAngelo also scored the game-winning goal for the Roadrunners in Saturday night's 5-4 overtime win vs. the Ontario Reign. The 5-foot-11, 183-pound native of Sewell, New Jersey collected 6-37-43 in 69 games with the Syracuse Crunch (AHL) last season, which ranked seventh among League defenseman.

DeAngelo was selected in the first round (19th overall) by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 2014 Entry Draft.

The 23-year-old Gaudet has tallied 2-3-5 in eight games with Tucson this season. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound native of Hamilton, Ontario has registered 1-2-3 in 16 career NHL games with the Coyotes over the past two seasons.

Gaudet was signed by the Coyotes as a free agent on November 4, 2013.
