SERIES HISTORY:

Tonight is Game 6 of the first round of the 2006- 2007 Kelly Cup Playoffs. After Monday's 4-2 win in Fresno, the Condors lead the series, 3-2

The Condors, who once trailed 0-2 in the series, won their third straight game Monday and can advance to the National Conference Semifinals with one more victory.

Andrew Ianiero led the way in Game 5 at Save Mart Center with two goals, while netminder Rejean Beauchemin put together another solid effort between the pipes with 18 saves en route to the victory.

Ianiero scored his first of the night just 17 seconds into the game, before Fresno tied it midway through the opening frame. Tyler Scott and Ianiero scored quick back-to-back goals late in the second period, giving Bakersfield a 3-1 cushion. Stuart MacRae made it a 3- 2 game 6:44 into the third, but Tyler Liebel put the nail in the coffin with just 3:22 remaining.

Notes: Bakersfield's three straight postseason wins is a franchise record. Kevin St. Jacques is the franchise's all-time leader with 25 playoff points (9g, 16a). The Condors are out-shooting the Falcons 212- 140 in the series, including 182-91 in the last 4 games. Bakersfield is 8-for-35 on the power play in the series (23 percent) and has scored at least one power-play goal in each of the five games. The Condors lead the ECHL in average playoff attendance (5,714/game) and rank second in total total (11,428). Last Friday's crowd of 7,219 set a franchise single-game playoff record.
