Aces home dates set for second round

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - The Alaska Aces resume their quest for back-to-back ECHL championships next Monday and Wednesday at Sullivan Arena; only the opponent remains in doubt.
Bakersfield holds a 3-2 series lead over Fresno with home games scheduled for tonight and tomorrow, if a seventh and deciding game becomes necessary. If the Condors win either tonight or tomorrow evening, they would open the conference semi-finals in Anchorage Monday at 7:15 p.m., with Game Two scheduled for Sullivan Arena Wednesday at 7:15 p.m. If the Falcons should win both games and advance, then Alaska would welcome Idaho for Games One and Two next Monday and Wednesday night at 7:15 p.m. Regardless of whether the Aces face the Condors or the Steelheads, Games Six and Seven, if necessary, would return to Sullivan Arena Thursday and Friday, May 3-4, at 7:15 p.m.
The Aces practice tomorrow, Saturday, and Sunday at 10:00 a.m. on the second sheet at Ben Boeke Arena in preparation for the National Conference semi-finals. Tickets for Monday and Wednesday's games at Sullivan Arena will be on sale at the Aces office tomorrow during regular business hours and Sunday between Noon-5:00 p.m. as well as online at www.alaskaaces.com, Ticketmaster, or at participating Fred Meyer locations. All 2007 Kelly Cup playoff games will be broadcast live on the flagship home of Aces hockey, KFQD 750 AM, with Monday night's coverage getting underway at 6:55 p.m. All road games during the postseason will be simulcast on GCI Cable Channel 1.
