Long Beach, Calif. - Six different players scored goals as the Bakersfield Condors matched a season high in offensive output with a 7-2 win in Long Beach on Saturday night in front of 4,242 fans at the Long Beach Arena.

Bakersfield and Long Beach came out firing, and before four minutes were played in the game, four goals were scored. Christoffer Norgren tallied on the power play just 1:24 in for his fifth of the season. Just over a minute later, J.P. O'Connor tied the game at 1-1. But Bakersfield lit the lamp two more times in the next 44 seconds to regain the advantage. Jamie Cooke and Paul Rosebush both scored to make it 3-1 Condors at 3:23 of the opening frame. That was end of the night for B.J. Boxma, who stopped just two of five shots before being pulled. Jeff Goldie kept it rolling by netting his 11th of the season 9:07 to make it 4-1 at end of 20 minutes.

More Bakersfield in the second period as Cooke slid home a rebound for his second of the night to make it 5-1 at 6:39. Jason Ralph regained a share of the team lead in goals when he fired home his 14th of the season at 13:54 of the middle frame. Immediately off the face off at center, Jordan Roach and Roger Maxwell squared off in their third tilt of this two-game set. Roach proved to be the victor, and silenced the Long Beach fans with a one-punch exclamation mark on the bout. The period ended with the Condors in control 6-1.

Nate Anderson added to the lead with his sixth of the season early in the final stanza to make it 7-1. Long Beach ended a huge streak late in the game by scoring on the power play to cut the lead to 7-2. It was the first power play goal for the Ice Dogs in 17 games, ending an 0-for-77 drought. 7-2 was the final score as St. Pierre picked up his 19th win, and the team's 20th. It is the second-highest single season win total in franchise history.

The team returns home to host the Idaho Steelheads on Sunday at 5:00pm. That game is another Jersey Off Our Backs Raffle and Auction, for the team's Metal Blade warm up jerseys. Everyone in attendance will have a chance to win one of five to be raffled off, and the others will be auctioned at center ice after the game to raise money for the American Bone Marrow Donor Registry. The Spanish Radio Group sponsors the event.
