"Condors Insider" Debuts Thursday on Fox Sports 970

Bakersfield, Calif. -The Bakersfield Condors, host of the 2011 ECHL All-Star Classic and ECHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild, have announced details for the debut of their new weekly radio talk show, Condors Insider. The first show of the season airs Thursday from 6 - 7 p.m. on Fox Sports Radio 970 AM.
The show will take place live in studio each week, and will feature rotating guests of Condors players, Head Coach Marty Raymond and Condors staff, as well as news and notes from around the ECHL, special features and phone calls from listeners. This week's episode will include RW Erick Lizon and G Josh Tordjman. Listeners can call in with questions at (661) 716-0970.
"We're really excited to get the Condors weekly show back on the air, on our new broadcast home," said Condors Vice President of Communications, Kevin Bartl. "We have never been able to take phone callers in the past, so that's a new element of the show that I think fans will enjoy, and we're going to try some different things this season. We hope fans tune in and call in as well."
The show will air each Thursday, minus several dates due to the team's travel schedule, holidays and other conflicts. Dates with no show include Thanksgiving (Nov. 25), Dec. 23, Dec. 30, Feb. 10 and Mar. 10. Other than those dates. Condors Insider will be hosted by Condors broadcasters Kevin Bartl and Bob Mills.
