
Condors Earn Precious Point in Rally against Stockton

CONDORSTOWN, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors (16-12-1-3, 36pts), owned by the Edmonton Oilers, overcame a three-goal deficit in the final 10 minutes to force overtime, but fell 5-4 in a shootout to the Stockton Thunder (13-17-1-0, 27pts), Saturday night at Rabobank Arena.
After the game the team's Hobbit/Lord of the Rings jerseys were auctioned off and raised $20,150 for California Living Museum (C.A.L.M.). G Frans Tuohimaa's sweater fetched the highest total, of $2,300.
