
Condors Complete Trade with Cincinnati; Send Goulet to Cyclones

CONDORSTOWN, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors announced today that they have traded D Alain Goulet to the Cincinnati Cyclones to complete a trade which brought LW Evan Trupp and D Ryan Annesley to Bakersfield. The Condors sent C Mathew Sisca and future considerations to the Cyclones earlier this season for Trupp and Annesley. Goulet completes the future considerations end of the deal. Bakersfield is in action tonight in Loveland, CO as they open up a two-game set with the Colorado Eagles at 6:05 p.m. Pacific.
"Alain has certainly contributed to us this season and we hate to lose him," said Condors Head Coach Matt O'Dette. "But, typically you have to give up good players to get good players. We wish him the best of luck."
Goulet, a 6th round draft pick (#159) of the Boston Bruins in 2007, scored seven goals and added 10 assists for 17 points in 46 games played with the Condors. Five of his seven goals came as a forward.
The Condors have reaped the benefits of having Trupp and Annesley with both players impacting the team positively. Trupp has seven goals and seven assists for 14 points in 16 games with the Condors, including a highlight reel goal scored against Las Vegas in Condorstown. He earned ECHL Player of the Week honors for the week ending Feb. 12. Annesley has been a top defenseman for the Condors. In 15 games played, the Ajax, ON native, has one goal and seven assists for eight points and a +7 rating. His +6 rating overall is good for second on the team.
Two-Week Road Trip Starts Tonight
The Condors head out on the road for the next five games, starting tonight in Colorado. They take on the Eagles on Saturday as well with both games starting at 6:05 p.m. Pacific.
