TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: Tonight the Cyclones open the month of March with a crucial division battle, as they play host to the Chicago Express. Coming into the night, Cincinnati trails Chicago by just one point in the North Division standings and will need a strong showing this month to secure a playoff spot. This season against their Windy City Rivals, the Clones have amassed a 5-4-3 record while outscoring them 35-33. Not surprisingly, the season series has produced some extremely close games; in fact, seven of the 12 meetings this year have been decided by a single goal.

TONIGHT'S PROMOTION: THIRSTY THURSDAY / CROSS RIVER FACE-OFF - Fans 21+ can enjoy $1 PBR and Miller High Life! Plus, it's the first-ever Cross River Face-off, where students from Northern Kentucky University and University of Cincinnati are encouraged to come dressed in their school's attire and show off school spirit!

SCOUTING THE EXPRESS: Steve Martinson's club has earned points in five consecutive games, including a come-from-behind effort against Toledo last night. Their recent surge is coming in spite of the fact that two of their top scorers are on the shelf. Tyler Donati, who led the Express with 61 points, is currently on the injured reserve list as is Chad Painchaud. With both of those weapons out of the lineup, Pierre-Luc Faubert is the active leader in scoring for Chicago; this season, he has collected 36 points (16 goals, 20 assists) in 56 games. Goaltender Peter Mannino has played in 21 straight contests for the Express, earning a 10-7-2-2 record along the way with a 3.11 goals-against average. Against the Clones in 2011-12, he is 3-2-1 a 3.11 GAA. Although he hasn't played a game for Chicago since January 6, Alan York is another option in net; in nine appearances this season, he has posted a 4-3-1 record with a 3.62 goals against average.

Remarkable Rookies: Matt Sisca and Anthony Luciani have both continued to excel in their first season as pros. Sisca has amassed 53 points in 60 games, which ranks second among first-year players and 13th overall. Luciani, meanwhile, is 7th among rookies with 36 points (16 goals, 20 assists) in 36 games.

Eastern Conference Playoff Race: The top eight teams at season's end earn a Kelly Cup Playoff bid.
