Cincinnati Cyclones News Release

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL's Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today that they have agreed to terms with forward Byron Elliott. In a separate transaction, they have released forward Brent Clarke.

Elliott, a 23-year-old Burlington, Ontario native, joins the Cyclones after completing a three-year collegiate career at the University of Toronto. In 74 games, the six-foot-one inch forward amassed 107 points (46 goals, 61 assists), 28 of them coming in his senior season. He was Toronto's offensive leader in each of his three years on campus. Prior to skating in college, Elliott played parts of four seasons in the OPJHL and OHL.

He is expected to make his professional debut tonight as Cyclones return to U.S. Bank Arena as they host the Chicago Express at 7:30pm. It will be the first-ever Cross River Face-Off with students from Northern Kentucky and University of Cincinnati encouraged to show who has more school spirit by dressing in their team's colors.
