Community Skate with the Warriors February 26th

Moose Jaw Warriors News Release


The Moose Jaw Warriors are pleased to announce a free skate with the Warriors at Wakamow/Kiwanis River Park from 1 - 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 26th. The Warriors have partnered with Moose Jaw Canadian Tire in an effort to assist the 'JUMPSTART' program.

The Oval will be the venue where you can skate with your favourite with Warriors. The event will also showcase raffles, giveaways, autographs, snacks, beverages and a whole lot more.

We ask that you bring a donation for the 'JUMPSTART' program. You can help support a child and/or children in this community play sports and enjoy the benefits of sports.

Canadian Tire believes that all kids should have the opportunity to play. However, the reality is that one in three Canadian families cannot afford to enroll their children in sport or recreation activities (IPSOs Reid 2009.)

Canadian Tire Jumpstart® was created to help give kids a sporting chance. The charitable program helps kids participate in organized sport and recreation by covering the costs of registration, equipment and/or transportation. To date, we have given more than 216,500 kids across Canada the chance to play.
