BC Division Showdowns this Week

The Blazers will host a pair of BC Division matchups this week at Interior Savings Centre as the Victoria Royals and Vancouver Giants visit Kamloops.

Wednesday night the Blazers take on the Royals for Aboriginal Night. The team will wear specially designed jerseys to honour the Tk'emlups Indian Band and be joined by special guests for a pregame ceremony and intermission activities.

One of the specially designed jerseys will be signed by the entire Kamloops Blazers team and raffled off during Wednesday's game. Tickets are only $2 each with all proceeds going to the United Way. Check out the jersey raffle beside the RBC table in Sponsor's Corner on the concourse behind Section U.

Saturday night the Blazers host the Vancouver Giants in the second game of a key home and home series. The Giants currently trail the Blazers by 12 points for the lead in the BC Division with 13 games remaining for the Blazers and 11 for the Giants.

Also featured on Saturday Night is the 2nd annual Canadian Western Bank DASH for CASH! 15 contestants will have a crack at collecting as much money as they can from $3000 in loonies spread out at centre ice. Any remaining money will be donated to Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Kamloops.

For your chance to be one of the 15 contestants, enter your name at Canadian Western Bank on Summit Drive until Thursday, February 23rd, or enter at the Blazers games on Wednesday and Saturday. 10 contestants will be picked from Canadian Western Bank and the remaining 5 will be announced during the 2nd period of Saturday's Blazer home game.

Starting on Wednesday, February 22nd, you can win prizes by downloading the Blazers Game Day Program online! In an effort to save paper the Blazers have always encouraged fans to download the Game Day Program online via www.blazerhockey.com which also allows access to the full package of detailed program info as well as the team lineups and cover page currently made available at home games.

An additional page of prize draw entry forms will now be included in the Game Day Program Package which allows only fans who print them off and bring them in to ISC at game time to win some great prizes from our sponsors! A prize draw table will be set up at every Blazers Home Game outside the Blazers Corner Store at the front entrance of ISC where fans can enter their filled out forms.

Winners will be displayed on the big screen throughout the game and prizes will be available to claim at the Blazers Corner Store until the end of the night.

To download the Blazers Game Day Program head to www.blazerhockey.com and click on the GAMEDAY PROGRAM link at the top left of the main page. Up to date programs will be available by 2:00pm on game days.

Please remember that you can choose which pages to print from the program - you do not have to print the entire package if you do not wish to.

Season Ticket Holders please remember that this Friday, February 24th is the deadline to secure your seats for exciting Blazers Playoff action! Please return the completed form to the Blazers Box Office or call them at 250-828-3339.

Blazers cow bells have returned to the Blazers Corner Store! Pop in during the next game to grab one and make some noise to support the Blazers as they gear up for the playoffs!
