
Commissioner McKenna to address Hockey in Southeast Texas on Wednesday

Beaumont, TX (April 16, 2007) Next season will be the 5th anniversary of the Texas Wildcatters. ECHL Commissioner Brian McKenna and Wildcatters co-owner David LeFevre will be in Beaumont on Wednesday, April 18 to address media and fans at 2:30 p.m. They will discuss plans for the 2007-08 hockey season in Southeast Texas.
All media and fans are welcomed to attend the special address which will take place in the VIP Room at Ford Arena beginning at 2:30 p.m.
Later Wednesday night, the Wildcatters will host the first ECHL Playoff Game in Southeast Texas as they take on the Gwinnett Gladiators in game 3 of the South Division Semifinals. Game time is at 7:05 p.m. It is Burger King Night and fans will receive a Wildcatters decal compliments of Burger King. Doors will open at 5:00 p.m. as Church on the Ice will take place from 5:30p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
The Kelly Cup Playoffs are coming to Southeast Texas for the first time in history. The Wildcatters home games will be Wednesday, April 18 at 7:05 p.m. and Friday, April 20 at 8:05 p.m. and if necessary on Sunday, April 22 vs. Gwinnett.
