GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas -- The Grand Prairie AirHogs are set for a big Independence Day weekend, with three games in the next four days with great promotions on tap at QuikTrip Park, with the AirHogs taking on division rivals Shreveport-Bossier and Fort Worth.
The series with the Captains concludes on Thursday, June 30, at 7:05 p.m., and features ThirstyThursday, with $2 16-ounce beers, as well as Ladies' Night, where all women get in to QuikTrip Park for just $2.
The Cats come across the Metroplex on Friday, with Parkland Community Health Plan giving away T-Shirts to the first 500 kids to QuikTrip Park and AirHogs hats to the first 500 adults. That game also starts at 7:05.
After playing in Fort Worth on Saturday, the two teams return to Grand Prairie on Sunday evening for a 6:05 start, with an Ace Bacon poster giveaway, courtesy of Brad Barton Photography. It is also the usual Pepsi Family Sunday, with $1 hot dogs and Pepsi products throughout the game.
After the game, fans are invited to the Fieldhouse Sports Bar and Grill in leftfield for an Independence Day concert, with live '80s music by Live 80 while enjoying the fireworks show over Lone Star Park. There is no cover charge for the concert and the Fieldhouse is offering drink specials all night.
Don't miss the renewed commitment to excellence and affordable family entertainment. All games are available with live, free streaming video on ustream.tv. Individual game tickets are on sale and can be purchased by calling 972-504-9383 or by visiting www.airhogsbaseball.com.
