Columbus Recalls Center Trevor Frischmon

Syracuse, NY (March 28, 2010) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have recalled center Trevor Frischmon. He is scheduled to make his National Hockey League debut tonight when Columbus faces Chicago at the United Center at 7 p.m.

Frischmon, 28, has appeared in 71 games for the Crunch this season, contributing six goals, 18 assists and 28 penalty minutes. He currently ranks sixth on the club's all-time list in games played (243), recording 16 goals, 56 assists and 133 penalty minutes in those contests.

Prior to joining the Crunch, Frischmon spent four years at Colorado College (WCHA) from 2002-06, where he was a three-time member of the WCHA All-Academic Team and tallied 30 goals, 36 assists and 121 penalty minutes in 160 career games. A native of Ham Lake, Minnesota, Frischmon was signed by Columbus as a free agent on July 3, 2009.
