
Colts Release Pitcher Weast

San Angelo, Texas --- The Colts announced Monday they have released relief pitcher Chris Weast.
Weast was put on the Inactive List on August 7. He made his last appearance for the Colts on August 5 against the Abilene Prairie Dogs. The righty went 1-2 with a 4.82 earned-run average in 22 games.
Weast began his career with the Colts in 2008, when he went 3-0 with a 3.59 earned-run average in 15 games and five starts. Prior to this season, Weast missed two years due to Tommy John surgery. In three professional seasons, Weast has a 5-3 record with a 5.16 earned-run average 47 games and seven starts.
The Colts and Prairie Dogs continue their four-game series Monday night at Foster Field. It will be a Haircuts at the Ballpark Night, sponsored by SportClips. Fans can receive haircuts at Foster Field for just $5, courtesy of SportClips. Gates open at 6:05 p.m., and first pitch is set for 7:05 p.m.
The Colts are a member of United League Baseball who are in their 13th season. Tickets are on sale now, and available at the Colts' front office at Foster Field.
