
Colts 'Diggin' Wells

San Angelo, Texas---The Colts made changes to beef up their pitching. The Colts received righty pitcher Andrew Wells from the Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings. To make room for Wells, the Colts released right-handed relief pitcher David Parker.
Wells comes to San Angelo in a trade with the WhiteWings for future considerations. Andrew was 2-1 with the WhiteWings, posting a 6.69 ERA. Wells saw action in eight games, in 35 innings he allowed 32 hits, walking 17 batters, while striking out 40.
David Parker spent 2005 and 2006 in the Padres and Brewers organizations, before pitching in the Northern League with the Kansas City T-Bones. While with the Colts, Parker was 0-0 with a 9.25 ERA. Parker made 18 appearances and in 24.1 innings, he allowed 37 hits, walking 10 while striking out 23.
