
Coloradoââ¬â¢s Kyle Jones Named Sher-Wood Central Hockey League Goaltender of the Month

TEMPE, AZ (December 3, 2010) -The Central Hockey League announced today that Kyle Jones of the Colorado Eagles has been named the Sher-Wood Central Hockey League Goaltender of the Month for November/2010. Jones will receive a Sher-Wood/CHL logoed watch courtesy of Sher-Wood and the Central Hockey League to recognize his accomplishment.

Jones earned points in all seven of his starts in the month of November posting a 6-0-1 record allowing just 14 goals in those seven games. For the month, he finished with a 2.03 goals against average and a .943 save percentage. His strong play is a big reason that the Eagles are paving the way in the Turner Conference with a 12-4-1 record and a five point lead. The North Delta, British Columbia native allowed two goals or fewer in four of his seven appearances including two shutouts.
2010-11 CHL Goaltending Leaders
On the season, the 6-0, 191-pound goaltender is 9-0-1 with a 2.02 goals against average and a .940 save percentage. He leads the league with nine wins, tied for the top spot with two shutouts and ranks second in save percentage and goals against average.
Other players receiving consideration for the monthly award for November include Allen's Adrien LeMay, Arizona's Levente Szuper, Bossier-Shreveport's John DeCaro, Missouri's Rob Nolan, Quad City's Adam Russo, Rio Grande Valley's Juliano Pagliero, Texas' Kevin Beech and Wichita's Marc-Antonie Gelinas.
