Metairie, LA -- Jason Young pitched a four-hit complete game shutout to lead Colorado Springs to a 5-0 victory over New Orleans in front of 8,217 Friday night at Zephyr Field.
Young (5-2) walked none and had just one three-ball count in the ninth inning before recording one of his five strikeouts. All four hits against him were singles. Only two Zephyrs reached second base and none got farther.
Young also went 2-for-3 with an RBI.

The Sky Sox added a run in the second when Luke Allen's single plated Gabe Kapler. Colorado Springs scored its final run in the fourth on consecutive doubles by Kapler and Young.
