The Play Ball! Texas Baseball exhibit, which runs from Saturday morning through Jan. 4, is 7,000 square feet of wall-to-wall baseball history centered on the Texas League, a farm league established in the South in 1888.

CAMP NOLAN RYAN: This summer Nolan is opening his doors in Round Rock, TX, to a select few pitchers. Attendance in this camp is highly exclusive and we (NPA - National Pitching Association) are requiring that attendees be of the elite age group.

The NPA Camp Nolan Ryan provides the opportunity for pitchers, parents, and coaches to get small group attention with the best pitching and functional fitness coaches in the country. The Clinic will focus primarily on pitching mechanics, functional fitness strength and conditioning, and will provide individual instruction and analyses.

Camp Nolan Ryan is for elite age group pitchers who want to work directly with Hall of Fame pitcher Nolan Ryan and the National Pitching Association's top instructors. Tom House heads the instruction team for Camp Nolan Ryan and was Mr. Ryan's pitching coach while playing for the Texas Rangers.

Each pitcher will throw a bull pen with Tom House and Nolan Ryan as well as receive support instruction in all aspects of pitching performance and arm care. Other topics covered in this once in a lifetime experience include college recruiting, mental emotional management, nutrition and recovery, game focus, and holding runners close as well as pick off moves. The event is held at The Dell Diamond.

All attendees will participate in a group interview with Nolan Ryan and Tom House comprised of attendee questions. Memorabilia autographing opportunities will be available for all Camp participants.

The date of the camp is July 25th-27th, 2003. Cost for the camp is $1,250. For more information go to http://www.nationalpitching.com.
