
Colorado Rallies To Defeat Toros

AUSTIN, TX - Joe Dabbert scored 22 points and Eddie Gill added 20 as the Colorado 14ers defeated the Austin Toros 107-101 on Saturday night at the Austin Convention Center.
Despite trailing by 19 points in the second quarter, Colorado used the third quarter to cut into the Toros lead and only trailed 77-74 at the end of the period. The 14ers would control the fourth quarter and would lead 94-84 following a driving layup by Dominique Coleman with 3:48 remaining.
With the victory, Colorado snapped Austin's six game home win streak and the three game win streak against the 14ers.
Sean Williams, on assignment from the New Jersey Nets, scored 16 points and also added a game-high 16 rebounds in 38 minutes of play.
The Toros were led in scoring by Ezra Williams with a season-high 24 points on 9-of-15 shooting from the field. Williams, who was started in place of Marcus Williams, grabbed seven rebounds, had two steals and was 6-of-6 from behind the 3-point line.
Charles Gaines and Carldell Johnson scored 19 points and San Antonio Spurs assignee Malik Hairston finished with 17 points.
