RAMAPO, NY -The Pittsfield Colonials battled back three times to tie the game against the Rockland Boulders before the Colonials put the game away with a five-run seventh, downing the Boulders 12-5.
Pittsfield would tie the game for a third time in the sixth when Jerod Edmondson singled home Chriss Torres, who had reached on a fielder's choice. Pittsfield forged ahead for the first time in the seventh inning when with the bases loaded, Billy Mottram hit a line shot that went off of the pitcher, Brett Carroll. The ball caromed to the shortstop, Richard, who in rushing to try to get Molina at second, threw the ball into rightfield, allowing all the runners to score and making to 7-4 Colonials. Pittsfield wasn't done yet as hits from Peter Fatse and Jerod Edmondson would score two more runs to extend the Colonials lead to 9-4.

The Boulders took the lead back in the third on a double by Scott Clement to put Rockland up 3-2.
For the second time in the game, Pittsfield would respond in the next half inning as Rafael Cabreja doubled to right-centerfield, scoring Torres, who had led off with a single, tying the contest at 3-3.
