Newark, N.J. - Newark Bears partners, Danielle Dronet and Dr. Douglas Spiel, take over ownership. Together this new ownership is looking to bring a new era of baseball to Bears and all other operations of the Eagles Riverfront Stadium, making it a better experience for the community and its fans.
True to their word, here are some of the instant improvements happening; 2 for 1 ticket prices (code: bearscarepass), additional fireworks nights (July 16, 20 & Aug 20, and September 3rd ) fundraiser opportunities for organizations (they pre-sell tickets at $10 and $3 per donated), tennis ball throwing contest ($1 per chance and win either; $500 CASH, 4 tickets or 2 tickets), one lucky random winner chosen for a suite upgrade, new items on menu and much more. "We have many more obstacles to over come but we are determined!" states Danielle'. "To make our stadium the best it can be, both inside and out, we're asking for any volunteers to help w painting, landscaping, debris removal and cleaning." "We believe in Newark.
