
Coffey, Dunn Named to U.S. Women's National Team Training Camp Roster for September Friendlies against South Africa

PORTLAND, Ore. -Portland Thorns FC midfielders Sam Coffey and Crystal Dunn have been named to the 27-player U.S. Women's National Team training camp roster for a pair of friendlies against South Africa during the September FIFA window, it was announced today.
Coffey (4 caps) returns to camp with the USWNT for the first time since January 2022. The Thorns FC midfielder last featured for the U.S. on Nov. 10, 2022, as a substitute against Germany. Dunn (136 caps) was part of the USWNT roster for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup, starting in all four matches during the tournament.
The USWNT will take on South Africa in the first of two matches on Sept. 21 at TQL Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio; kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. (Pacific). The two teams will square off for a second time on Sept. 24 at Soldier Field in Chicago at 2:30 p.m. (Pacific). Both matches will be broadcast on TNT, Universo and Peacock.
