CF Monterrey are one of the most successful teams in Mexico and are based in Guadalupe, Nuevo León, a city just outside Monterrey. A founding member of Liga MX Femenil, Las Rayadas won the Apertura (first tournament) in 2019 and the Grita México tournament in 2021. The team has never finished lower than fifth place since 2017 and has only lost once in its past five matches in Liga MX.
Kansas City continues to make a mark on the world stage with the club's first international club friendly. The Current first made headlines around the globe in October 2021 with the announcement of plans to build the world's first stadium purpose-built for women's football and a dedicated training facility for the team. The team has five countries being represented on the roster, including three players who represented their home countries in the 2023 FIFA World Cup.
