WILMINGTON - The Delaware Blue Coats (17-9) were defeated by the Maine Celtics (16-11) by a score of 101-122 on Monday night at Chase Fieldhouse.

Terquavion Smith had a big night for the Blue Coats, hitting six three-pointers en route to 28 points, a game high. Melvin Frazier Jr. (21), Rob Edwards (20), and Ricky Council IV (12) all joined Smith with double figures. Frazier Jr. also had 10 rebounds, giving him a double-double.

The game's major differentiator was the Celtics rebounding advantage. Maine outrebounded Delaware by 22.

DJ Steward scored a team-high 27 points for the Celtics. Joe Wieskamp (20), Drew Peterson (18), Brandon Slater (16), Kylor Kelly (12), and James Bank III (12) also contributed double-digit points in the winning effort.
